In its statement, the Committee expressed condolences to the families and loved ones of those who lost their lives in the tragic plane crash.
“Regarding the situation with children, we inform that there are no children among the affected citizens of Kazakhstan. At the same time, two children aged 11 and 16 have been admitted to the regional children's hospital. They are citizens of other countries. They are currently receiving all the necessary medical assistance. The regional children’s rights commissioner is on-site and monitoring the assistance process for the victims,” the agency reports.
According to the latest information from the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a total of 29 people have been hospitalized, including two children. Emergency rescue operations at the crash site are ongoing, and lists of the deceased and injured are being updated. A Republican headquarters has been established to coordinate actions with the participation of representatives from governmental bodies. A total of 432 personnel and 79 units of equipment are involved in the operation.
