Additionally, the title fight between Shavkat and Belal has been canceled. It was scheduled to take place at UFC 310 in Las Vegas on December 7.
American fighter Belal Muhammad, who has Palestinian roots and is the UFC welterweight champion, withdrew from the match for unknown reasons.
This fight could have been his first title defense against the undefeated fighter Shavkat Rakhmonov from Kazakhstan.
According to sports insiders, Rakhmonov will also not be part of the UFC 310 card, although he was ready to step into the octagon and face any opponent for the interim title.
Based on information from MMA Mania, the UFC has already found a replacement for the tournament. It appears that at UFC 310, there will likely be a fight between the champion from Brazil, Alex Pereira, and the fighter from Dagestan, Magomed Ankalaev.
Previously, Pereira had planned to take a break after setting a record by defending his title three times in 175 days, with victories over Jamahal Hill, Jiri Prochazka, and Khalil Rountree.
