Almaty remains the most expensive city in terms of housing prices, with the approximate cost per square meter reaching up to 745,000 tenge. The megacity continues to attract investors, students, and professionals from various fields due to its status as the country's business center.
The next most expensive city is Astana, where the price per square meter is around 513,000 tenge. The capital is still expanding, drawing in more and more residents.
Shymkent occupies the third spot, with the cost of one square meter of housing being approximately 432,000 tenge.
The most affordable apartments can be found in Kyzylorda and Taraz. In Kyzylorda, the price per square meter is about 244,000 tenge, while in Taraz it is roughly 301,000 tenge.
Experts predict that this year will see an increase in demand for housing in major cities like Almaty, Astana, and Shymkent, leading to an even greater shortage of new housing.
Compact apartments with an area of up to 60 square meters will be particularly popular, and the concept of residential complexes with "city within a city" infrastructure will emerge as one of the most sought-after trends in the real estate market.
