The Mayor of Almaty, Yerbolat Dosaev, visited the new Samal Water plant, which specializes in the production of drinking water. During the visit, he reviewed the results of the plant's construction and discussed the prospects for its further development.
The plant commenced operations in late 2024, marking a significant milestone in the modernization of the enterprise's infrastructure. As part of the project, two artesian wells were drilled to a depth of 250 meters, ensuring high water quality, modern equipment was installed, and engineering communications were established. The surrounding area has been improved: asphalt paving, lighting installation, and landscaping have been completed. Over 140 vehicles, including long-haul trucks and cargo vehicles, have been purchased for product delivery.

The establishment of the plant has created more than 330 jobs, and after the completion of the second construction phase in 2025, this number will exceed 550. This contributes to both the development of the enterprise and an increase in tax revenues for the city's budget.

In 2025, a bottling line for glass bottles and the production of flavored beverages are scheduled to launch, significantly increasing the plant's capacity.
"The construction of the Samal Water plant is a successful example of investment in Almaty's manufacturing sector. It contributes to economic growth, job creation, and the development of export potential," noted Yerbolat Dosaev, emphasizing the project's importance for the city's economy.
