January 2025 will offer Kazakhstan residents a fantastic beginning to the new year with extended holidays. Tengri Life has prepared a convenient calendar to help you easily plan your leisure, work, and travel.
How Many Days Off Will We Have
In total, January 2025 will feature 11 days off, including holidays and regular weekends. The new year will commence with four consecutive days off:
- From January 1 to 4 – days off in celebration of the New Year due to the transfer of the workday from January 3 to Sunday, January 5.
- January 7 – another day off in honor of Orthodox Christmas.
When We Rest and When We Work in January 2025
January will provide Kazakhstan residents with the opportunity to spend more time with family, travel, or relax at home in a cozy festive atmosphere. The schedule of work and holiday days will be as follows:
- January 1-4: festive days off (New Year).
- January 5-6: work days.
- January 7: day off (Christmas).
- January 8-10: work days.
- January 11-12: standard weekends.
January 2025 Calendar
It’s worth noting that in the first month of the year, Kazakhstan residents will also celebrate a professional holiday – Kazakhstan National Guard Day – on January 10.
Additionally, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of Kazakhstan has prepared a draft order from the head of the department, which includes the approval of 8 new professional holidays. More details can be found here.
