In Shymkent, 34-year-old Aziza Kalieva has given birth to her tenth child - on November 27, a baby boy named Zubair was born, as reported by Tengri Life referencing OTYRAR.
"The pregnancy went well, and the baby is feeling great. Thanks to the doctors - they all come and check on us. The care for the child is at a high level," says Aziza Kalieva.
This is the 14th pregnancy for the mother of many. At home, Aziza and her newborn are eagerly awaited by five sons and four daughters. Doctors assess the condition of both mother and baby as stable.
"Considering that the mother previously had two cesarean sections, the operation was successful. The boy was born at 38 weeks, weighing 4940 grams. He is currently under the observation of neonatologists, and the woman's condition is stable," reported obstetrician-gynecologist Zhanar Omarova.
Since the beginning of the year, 7,517 children have been born at the Shymkent City Perinatal Center, including 707 premature births, 96 twins, and 13 triplets.
