AI'preneurs: Seven startups have secured funding.

A total of 250 applications were submitted for participation in the AI'preneurs acceleration program. Fifty specialists, including developers, engineers, managers, and entrepreneurs, were selected to take part. They established 21 startups: nine completed the acceleration program, and seven received Seed Money funding, according to a report by Kapital.kz, citing the press service of Astana Hub.

The AI'preneurs program is aimed at fostering startups in the field of artificial intelligence. Participants underwent an intensive four-month course, covering everything from team formation and idea development to startup creation and market entry.

“The first graduates set a high standard: the AI CARD startup is implementing solutions in the capital's hospitals, AVM.AI has signed contracts with major companies, successfully testing a working MVP with over 30 users and training a model with 1 billion parameters, distributed across data centers in France and the USA. Chat Insider AI, which started with a simple idea, is now selling its chat analysis service to clients in Kazakhstan and Europe, while KAFTAN offers an innovative approach to learning Turkic languages. We aim to scale the program to attract even more talent,” said Magzhan Madiev, CEO of Astana Hub.

As part of the program, teams gained access to mentoring support, technopark infrastructure, and international contacts. Leading trackers Evgeny Frolov and Nikolai Tyan played a crucial role in the acceleration process, working with startups throughout the accelerator and providing hypothesis breakdowns during weekly board meetings.

Of the 21 projects created within the program, nine successfully completed the acceleration, showcasing strong MVPs:

AI CARD — a solution for automating heart ultrasound diagnostics using artificial intelligence. The system analyzes images in real-time and compares them with reference data, assisting doctors in decision-making.

Skideo — a platform that assists football clubs and academies in increasing revenues from player transfers by identifying young talents in youth leagues and small regions using computer vision and AI models to analyze match and training videos. Clubs will be able to access analytics on 8,000 players.
