U.S. President Donald Trump announced the establishment of a strategic cryptocurrency reserve on his Truth Social account. The U.S. leader stated that his Executive Order on digital assets directs a presidential working group to create a strategic reserve for cryptocurrencies. In addition to Bitcoin, it will include cryptocurrencies such as Ripple (XPR), Solana (SOL), and Cardano (ADA), as reported by rb.ru.
"I will ensure that the U.S. becomes the crypto capital of the world," Trump wrote on Truth Social.
Additionally, Donald Trump plans to hold the first cryptocurrency summit on March 7. Participants in this meeting will include entrepreneurs, investors from the cryptocurrency industry, and members of the president's working group on digital assets, according to Bloomberg.
The summit will be chaired by businessman David Sacks, and the meeting will be administered by Bo Hines, the executive director of the working group under the U.S. president.
