Friendship and cooperation: What projects did Tokayev and Orban discuss?

During the negotiations, key aspects of bilateral cooperation and prospects for its further deepening were discussed. The head of our state emphasized that Hungary is a reliable strategic partner of Kazakhstan in the European Union, as well as a friendly and brotherly nation.

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev underscored that the main goal of his visit is to give a new impetus to bilateral relations, particularly in areas such as energy, transport, and logistics. Priority was given to the implementation of joint projects in the oil and gas sector, agriculture, logistics, nuclear industry, and finance.

The interlocutors confirmed their governments' readiness to create favorable conditions for the successful implementation of the planned initiatives.

Prime Minister Viktor Orban expressed confidence that the agreements reached will serve as a foundation for further expanding cooperation between Kazakhstan and Hungary.

In addition, there was an exchange of views on a wide range of regional and international issues, including cooperation within multilateral frameworks. The President of Kazakhstan highly appreciated Viktor Orban's personal contribution to strengthening the role of the Organization of Turkic States on the international stage.
