The National Olympic Committee of Kazakhstan has confirmed that on the first day of the competition, athletes competed in the 500 and 1500-meter events. Kazakh participants were competing in division B.

In the 500-meter event, Kristina Silaeva claimed victory. Inessa Shumekova finished in 15th place, Margarita Galieva took 18th, and Daria Vazhenina crossed the finish line in 20th.

Among the men, Evgeny Koshkin achieved the fourth-best result, Altai Zhardembekuly placed 11th, and Nikita Vazhenin came in 20th.

In the 1500-meter race, Nadezhda Morozova was the top performer. Kristina Shumekova completed the race in 15th position, while Maria Degen finished in 22nd.

In the men's 1500-meter event, Nurali Akzhol placed 29th, and Roman Binazarov came in 31st.

It is worth noting that the medals for the World Cup are contested in division A.
