Ekaterina Smolyakova has been elected as a deputy in the Mazhilis.

Ekaterina Smolyakova took the oath and has been elected to the committee for socio-cultural development of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Additionally, according to the information from the advisor to the head of the central office of the Respublica party, Rishat Askarbekuly, Ekaterina Smolyakova is a graduate of Jansugurov University in Taldykorgan and teaches the Kazakh language and literature.

Ekaterina Smolyakova began her public work early. She leads a women's club at KBTU and chairs the board of trustees of the Almaty Children's Home No. 1. Her most recent position was vice-rector of KBTU.
