Two individuals have been detained on suspicion of committing sexual violence.
During the pre-trial investigation into the violence against a minor college student, law enforcement agencies also discovered instances of abuse against her older brother, who is a school student.
A criminal case has been initiated regarding this matter.
The regional commissioner for children's rights in the Pavlodar region, Saule Shakenova, stated that "the victim is receiving comprehensive support, including psychological assistance."
