Finland backs Kazakhstan's reforms.

A roundtable was held at the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Finland, dedicated to the political and socio-economic reforms of the President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

The event featured participation from Kimmo Kiljunen, Chairman of the Committee on International Affairs of the Parliament, leadership from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the International Chamber of Commerce "EastCham", respected public figures, and experts from the Finnish Institute of International Relations, the University of Helsinki, and the Aleksanteri Institute, as well as representatives from the business community and media.

The Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Finland, Azamat Abdraymov, provided participants with a detailed overview of the key reforms initiated by the President of Kazakhstan, including issues related to the protection of human rights, a multi-vector foreign policy, improvements in the investment climate, and the development of industry and transport infrastructure. In this context, the Kazakh diplomat emphasized that there are promising opportunities for Finnish partners to further expand cooperation with Kazakhstan, including the creation of joint projects in the fields of digitalization, environmental protection and climate, and the training of qualified personnel for education, "green" energy, and forestry.

In turn, the participants of the roundtable expressed great interest in the ongoing transformations in Kazakhstan and noted the relevance of the discussed topics for enhancing bilateral interaction.
