As explained by the head of the Ministry of Energy, a significant portion of the country's power plants was in a state of disrepair, with wear levels reaching up to 90%. Measures were taken to address this situation, resulting in 19 plants being removed from this category.
The minister noted that bills are generated based on the current tariffs, and if there were no errors or artificial inflation in calculations by the companies, the amounts in the invoices reflect actual consumption.
According to him, the payment for gas, heating, and electricity depends on the actual volume used and the established tariff.
However, residents have opportunities to optimize their expenses by reducing consumption, installing meters for the entire building, or choosing a supplier that offers more favorable conditions.
