According to him, there are indeed some areas experiencing so-called "white spots" where the signal is weak or nonexistent. However, efforts to eliminate these zones are ongoing.
Madiyev noted that quality measurements of the connection are carried out regularly, and operators strive to respond promptly to changes in infrastructure, such as the construction of new homes, business centers, or expansion of urban boundaries.
“I travel periodically to monitor this situation, and just yesterday I drove around — mobile operators have installed additional base stations there. I had very good connectivity yesterday: I even conducted a work meeting on Zoom without any drops in call quality during the session,” the minister reported.
The head of the ministry emphasized that improving connectivity is a top priority. In case of complaints from the public, the Telecommunications Committee responds promptly:
The minister added that if there are specific locations with connectivity issues, they should be reported through the "eOtinish" platform. Specialists will conduct an inspection and issue directives to operators to resolve the problem. This may involve upgrading equipment or installing additional base stations.
He also noted that while completely eliminating "white spots" is a continuous process, positive trends in the improvement of connectivity and internet quality are already being observed.
