The press service of the Atyrau Oil Refinery denies information regarding the initiation of an investigation against its director, Galymzhan Zhusанbaev, as reported by the business information center Kapital.kz.

"In connection with the publication in the Telegram channel of the Ulysmedia outlet and other sources regarding the alleged initiation of a criminal investigation against the director of LLP 'Atyrau Oil Refinery' Galymzhan Zhusанbaev, we officially state: this information is false and completely untrue. Currently, LLP 'Atyrau Oil Refinery' and its management have not received any official notifications or requests from law enforcement agencies. The information about an alleged investigation is nothing more than speculation aimed at undermining the reputation of the refinery and its employees," the statement from the refinery reads.

It is also emphasized that the refinery continues to operate normally, diligently fulfilling production tasks and strictly adhering to the laws of the country.

"We urge all media representatives and authors of publications to refrain from disseminating inaccurate, unverified information. Such actions not only mislead the public but also cause significant harm to the business reputation of the enterprise and the well-being of its employees. In the event of further circulation of false information, LLP 'Atyrau Oil Refinery' reserves the right to appeal to the competent authorities to protect its legal interests, including holding accountable those who spread defamatory information," the press service of the enterprise states.

It is worth recalling that in June of last year, it was reported that the previously dismissed general director of the Atyrau Oil Refinery, Galymzhan Zhusанbaev, was reinstated in his position through the courts.
