The JSC "Passenger Transportation" has reported delays for six passenger trains due to an accident at the railway crossing of the Tëndik station, as stated by a correspondent from the business information center Kapital.kz, citing the press service of "Kazakhstan Temir Zholy."
The following train services are experiencing delays:
•№313 "Atyrau – Mangistau";
•№314 "Mangistau – Atyrau";
•№42 "Almaty – Atyrau";
•№41 "Atyrau – Almaty";
•№123 "Volgograd – Tashkent";
•№691 "Atyrau – Aktobe".

To facilitate passenger transportation, the Atyrau akimat has provided buses for the route from Atyrau station to the nearest Karabotan station and back.
The national carrier offers passengers meals and up-to-date information via SMS notifications and at railway stations regarding the operation of passenger trains.
Passengers can inquire about train delays by calling the toll-free number 1433.
Restoration work is underway at the railway crossing of Tëndik station where the accident occurred.
It is worth mentioning that if passenger trains are delayed for more than one hour, the following compensations are provided to passengers:
•for those who opt not to travel – a full refund of the ticket price;
•if the trip is interrupted en route – a refund for the distance not traveled;
•for delays – compensation of 3% for each full hour of delay, but not exceeding the ticket price.
Compensation for delays of the national carrier's passenger train can be claimed at the ticket offices of JSC "Passenger Transportation" upon application.

To remind, on March 1 at 10:20, an accident occurred at the railway crossing of Tëndik station due to the negligence of a truck driver, resulting in a collision with a freight train. As a result of the accident, members of the locomotive crew were injured. A locomotive and 11 empty cars derailed.
On February 28, 2025, a fire broke out during drilling operations at the Don mining and processing plant. Four workers were taken to a local hospital as a result of the incident. Two of the injured were hospitalized in the trauma unit, one was discharged home, and one remains in intensive care in critical condition.
On February 17, 2025, a rock mass collapse occurred at the "Zhomart" mine of the TOO "Kazakhmys Corporation" in the Zhanaarkinsk region of the Ulytau area. Seven workers lost their lives. Following this tragedy, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev instructed the government to take a series of measures to ensure the safety of workers in hazardous industries.
