During the meeting, the parties discussed cooperation in the field of education within the framework of Kazakh-Hungarian relations, as well as issues related to scientific diplomacy. In particular, it was highlighted that with the support of the Hungarian government, educational grants have been provided to Kazakh students for over 10 years, enabling several thousand young Kazakhstanis to obtain higher education at universities in Hungary. Emphasizing that these young individuals serve as a "golden bridge" for cooperation between the two countries, the parties acknowledged the need to strengthen the potential of the "Stipendium Hungaricum" program.
The Kazakh diplomat informed the Hungarian side about Kazakhstan's achievements in higher education, including the establishment of branches of leading foreign universities in the country. He also noted that scholars from Kazakhstan are prepared to undertake research internships at Hungarian higher education institutions within the framework of the international "Bolashak" program.
In turn, the Deputy Secretary of State expressed interest in collaborating with the "Bolashak" International Programs Center and stated a willingness to establish cooperation between the Diplomatic Academy of the Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Institute of Diplomacy at the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In conclusion, the parties reaffirmed their readiness to continue working on strengthening educational and scientific ties between the two countries and expanding bilateral cooperation.
