The website of the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovations, and Aerospace Industry reports the signing of an agreement for the development and implementation of a high-resolution Earth remote sensing space system for the Republic of Congo.

"The project aims to advance space technologies in the interests of national security, monitoring natural resources, agriculture, ecology, and urban planning in Congo. It involves the creation of a high-tech satellite platform capable of monitoring the Earth's surface with high precision and timeliness.

The signed agreement enables Congo to join the international group of Earth remote sensing satellites, which already includes Mongolia," - the statement reads.

The head of the Ministry of Digital Development, Jaslan Madiyev, stated that Kazakhstan will also train and share its expertise with colleagues.

"In addition to the satellite platform, Kazakhstan offers a comprehensive solution that includes training and knowledge transfer. Kazakhstan is strengthening its position as a hub for technological development, and international partners trust our solutions. This is already the second successful export confirming the high level of the domestic space industry," emphasized the Minister of Digital Development, Innovations, and Aerospace Industry, Jaslan Madiyev.

Recall that in August of last year, the President of Congo, Denis Sassou-Nguesso, visited Kazakhstan. It was reported that Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Denis Sassou-Nguesso held talks in an expanded format. The President of Kazakhstan was invited to visit Congo.

During the visit, the parties signed a number of documents. At that time, it was noted that the parties signed a memorandum of cooperation in the field of information and communication technologies, e-government services, space activities, and cybersecurity.
