The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Roman Vasilenko, met with the Ambassador of North Macedonia, Sali Limani, in connection with the completion of his diplomatic mission in Kazakhstan.

The Kazakh diplomat presented S. Limani with a letter of appreciation on behalf of the Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, Murat Nurtleu, highlighting the significant contribution of the North Macedonian ambassador to the development of bilateral political and trade-economic relations during his tenure in Kazakhstan. Notably emphasized were the successful entry of the renowned pharmaceutical company "Alkaloid" with an 88-year history into the Kazakh market and the participation of the North Macedonian delegation in the World Nomad Games in Astana.

The interlocutors noted the significant momentum that the recent meeting between the leaders of the two countries, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova, at the COP29 in Baku has given to bilateral relations, as well as the invitation extended to the North Macedonian leader to visit Kazakhstan next year. Confidence was expressed that the opening of the Embassy of Kazakhstan in North Macedonia this year will further deepen bilateral relations.

At the end of the meeting, R. Vasilenko wished S. Limani success in his future endeavors.

For his part, the Ambassador of North Macedonia, who has successfully worked in Astana for four years, thanked the Kazakh side for their warm reception and expressed hope for the continuation of fruitful cooperation between the two countries.
