Delegations from the Republic of Azerbaijan (led by Samir Sharifov), the Islamic Republic of Iran (led by Alireza Jahangiri), the Republic of Kazakhstan (led by Zulfia Amanzholova), the Russian Federation (led by Mikhail Petrakov), and Turkmenistan (led by Murat Atadzhanov) participated in the negotiations.

The meeting was chaired by the head of the Kazakh delegation, Zulfia Amanzholova.

The parties continued their discussion on the methodology for establishing direct baseline lines in the Caspian Sea.

During the meeting, the parties reviewed cooperation in the Caspian Sea, discussed the preparation for the upcoming meeting of the foreign ministers of the Caspian states in Turkmenistan, and the progress of the negotiation process regarding the projects of the five-party documents.

The delegations expressed their gratitude to the Republic of Kazakhstan for the high level of organization of the meeting.

The next meeting of the RGVU will take place in Turkmenistan on dates agreed upon through diplomatic channels.
