Midfielder of the Kazakhstan U-21 national team David Esimbekov shared his thoughts about returning to the Russian “Chornomorets” after a loan spell with the capital's “Zhenis” in an interview with Meta-ratings.kz, as reported by Sports.kz.
“The training camps are going well. I’m happy to be back with the team. I have recovered from my back injury. I missed the summer training sessions with ‘Chornomorets’ because of surgery to remove my appendix. Later, during my loan at ‘Zhenis’, I was diagnosed with a hernia, which prevented me from playing,” said Esimbekov.
It’s worth noting that at the beginning of last year, Esimbekov was on trial with the Cypriot club ‘Aris’, managed by former ‘Kairat’ coach Alexey Shpilevsky. However, it was later revealed that the midfielder signed a contract with the Russian ‘Chornomorets’ until 2027.
Esimbekov finished the previous season at the capital's ‘Zhenis’, where he played on loan.
