Transport Minister Marat Karabaev addressed inquiries regarding when the preliminary results of the investigation into the plane crash near Aktau will be announced, as reported by a Bizmedia.kz correspondent.

Journalists noted that on January 24, Deputy Prime Minister Kanat Bozumbaev stated that preliminary results of the investigation would be published next week. They pointed out that there is still no data available and in this regard, they inquired when the causes of the plane crash would be disclosed.

“We have mentioned that international specialists from the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Russian Federation, Brazil as the manufacturing country, and ICAO are involved. They are all working together and are at the final stage. We expect that a preliminary report will be officially published on our website in the coming days,” said Marat Karabaev.

However, he did not specify an exact date.

“The specialists need time to complete their work. This is a very delicate and meticulous task. Until it is published, we will not provide additional comments. But I promise that it will be released in the coming days. I have been briefed, and the commission is working daily under my guidance and is in the final stages,” the minister concluded.
