The oil extraction plant in the North Kazakhstan region is set to launch by the end of November this year, as reported by the business information center Kapital.kz, citing the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture.

"LLP 'Maslo-Del Petropavlovsk' has completed the construction of a new oil extraction plant. It will process 370,000 tons of oilseeds annually. The products of the plant will include sunflower and flaxseed oil, as well as meal. To enhance competitiveness in external markets, the cold pressing technology will be utilized in production," the statement reads.

In summary, the facility is equipped with modern machinery from Germany, Belgium, and Turkey. Currently, the construction of the extraction, seed preparation, and reception workshops, as well as the pumping and boiler facilities, has been completed. Commissioning work on the equipment is underway.

The production launch is planned for the end of November this year. The project cost is estimated at 34 billion tenge.
