Driver medical certificates are now available on eGov Mobile.

For the convenience of drivers, the medical certificate form 073/u is now available in the eGov Mobile app, reports the business information center Kapital.kz, citing the press service of JSC "NIT".

"Previously, this service could only be accessed on the eGov.kz portal, and since its launch in November 2024, over 7,000 certificates have already been issued to Kazakhstani citizens," the company noted.

The medical certificate form 073/u is a mandatory document for all drivers, confirming the absence of contraindications for operating a vehicle.

Previously, citizens could only obtain the certificate in paper form after undergoing a medical examination by four specialists: a therapist, a psychiatrist-narcologist, an ophthalmologist, and an otolaryngologist. With the launch of the service on the eGov.kz portal, the process has become much simpler – users can now obtain the certificate in electronic format after completing a medical examination and submitting an application on the electronic government portal. Now, to obtain the document, it is sufficient to use the eGov Mobile app.

To utilize the service, it is necessary to:

  • log in to the eGov Mobile app;
  • in the "Services" section, select the "Healthcare" category;
  • find the service "Issuance of a medical certificate for permission to operate a vehicle (No. 073/u)";
  • sign the application using Face ID/Touch ID.

After submitting the application, the certificate will be available in the user's Personal Account history in PDF format. The document is valid for one year from the date of issuance.

It was previously reported that on eGov Mobile, users can check their vehicle history. The service allows users to verify complete information about the vehicle, such as the date of initial registration in Kazakhstan, any liens or encumbrances, as well as the total number of previous owners. The personal data of previous owners remains confidential.
