The Defense Minister of Kazakhstan held talks with the Secretary General of the CSTO.

Ahead of the meeting of the statutory bodies of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), a working meeting took place between Kazakhstan's Minister of Defense, Colonel General Ruslan Zhaksylykov, and the CSTO Secretary General Imangali Tasmagambetov, as reported by DKnews.kz.

The interlocutors discussed pressing issues related to military cooperation and the implementation of priority areas of Kazakhstan's chairmanship in the Collective Security Treaty Organization.

The parties also addressed matters concerning the preparation for the session of the CSTO Collective Security Council and the joint meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers, the Council of Defense Ministers, and the Committee of Security Council Secretaries of the Organization.

It is worth noting that the joint events will take place on November 28 in Astana.
