He noted that the increase in tariffs raises questions, and his ministry is monitoring the situation. If any violations are identified, the competition protection agency will take action.

The minister also addressed the issue regarding the replacement of old modems, which has been a source of complaints. According to him, the program should be free of charge, and if operators are demanding payment for it, the situation requires investigation.

In response to a question about the return of PlayStation accounts in Kazakhstan, Madiev stated that a request has been sent, but there has been no response from Sony yet. The embassy is also involved in resolving the matter.

Additionally, the minister spoke about the establishment of the ALEM AI international artificial intelligence center in Kazakhstan. It will be located on the EXPO territory and will serve as a hub for startups, educational initiatives, and research in the field of AI. Preliminary agreements have already been reached with foreign companies that will open their centers there.
