The Chairman of the Telecommunications Committee of the Ministry of Digital Development, Damir Seysembekov, emphasized that the main objective remains to ensure quality communication for all residents of the country, especially in rural areas.

As part of the national program "Affordable Internet," the government has launched an initiative to connect over three thousand villages to wired communication.

Furthermore, efforts are ongoing to expand satellite internet coverage. In 2024, 176 populated areas gained access to communication via satellite technologies, and this year, an additional 250 are planned to be connected.

The state is also actively developing infrastructure for the implementation of 5G and improving mobile communication. Seysembekov highlighted that the quality of the internet plays a crucial role in the development of the AI industry, digital economy, and technological startups.
