Users of eGov Mobile can check the vehicle history using their smartphones, as reported by the business information center Kapital.kz, referencing the press service of JSC "NIT".
As clarified by the company, the vehicle history check service was previously available on the electronic government portal. Now, users of the eGov Mobile app can access information about the ownership history of a vehicle in just a few clicks directly from their smartphones. This significantly speeds up the information retrieval process and helps minimize risks when purchasing a vehicle, as noted in the statement.
The service allows users to verify comprehensive information about the vehicle, such as the date of initial registration in Kazakhstan, the presence of any liens or encumbrances, and the total number of previous owners. Personal data of previous owners remains confidential.
To use the service, it is sufficient to enter the vehicle's license plate number and the technical passport number in the app. After that, the user receives detailed information about the vehicle, including make, year of manufacture, engine size, body color, and any additional equipment.
To use the service, the user needs to:
- log in to the eGov Mobile app and navigate to the "Services" section - "Driving and Transport", then select "Vehicle Ownership History";
- enter the vehicle's license plate number and the vehicle registration certificate number;
- click the "Search" button;
- receive detailed information about the vehicle.
