In Almaty, funding for the housing program "Almaty Zhastary" will continue. According to Kanat Sukhambekov, the head of Almaty's finance department, an additional 1.4 billion tenge will be allocated from the budget, as reported by the city akimat's press service.
As part of the budget clarification, the amount of social assistance for citizens from vulnerable social groups in Almaty has been increased: 585 million tenge is allocated to district akimats for providing social support to citizens at home, as well as for supporting individuals with special needs.
This will allow, according to Kanat Sukhambekov, to provide an additional 80 mortgage loans for young citizens working in social, law enforcement, communal, and other sectors.
Additionally, to improve housing conditions, the local budget has allocated an extra 2.5 billion tenge for 2,510 employees of internal affairs agencies.
