National Fund for Children: The ENPF provided clarifications regarding the program.

The Unified Accumulative Pension Fund (UAPF) has been receiving inquiries regarding the "National Fund - for Children" program, indicating that there is no information available on eGov and eGov Mobile about the targeted savings (TS) for children born in 2006 and 2007, reports a correspondent from the business information center Kapital.kz, referencing the fund's press service.

“Citizens who reach adulthood or turn 18 in 2025 should independently access information about their TS through their personal account on the UAPF and electronic government websites. According to Kazakhstani legislation, the UAPF guarantees the confidentiality of TS for their recipients, including details about balances and transactions on their accounts,” the fund explained.

It is worth noting that the targeted savings under the "National Fund - for Children" program are deposited in dollars and held in the UAPF account for a period of 10 years. If, within this timeframe, the citizen does not use these funds, they will be transferred to their individual pension account for accounting voluntary pension contributions to the UAPF, which is automatically opened in their name, converted into tenge at the official exchange rate of the National Bank on the transfer date.

You can familiarize yourself with the program's conditions, obtain instructions, and find answers to your questions on the website kids.enpf.kz and the UAPF's YouTube channel. A video instruction on implementing the "National Fund - for Children" program and the steps to take before and after the child reaches adulthood is available on the UAPF's YouTube channel at the following link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HHQNAxfskX8.

As of February 1, 2025, during the 12 months of the "National Fund - for Children" program, the UAPF processed 62,697 applications totaling 6.30 million dollars. Of these, 36,119 applications for improving housing conditions were fulfilled for 3.63 million dollars, and 26,578 applications for educational expenses were fulfilled for 2.67 million dollars. It is important to remember that the recipient of targeted savings has the right to use the entire amount or part of it, while any unused balance remains in the targeted savings account.

In 2023, all program participants received 100.52 dollars, and for 2024, they received 129.38 dollars. For children who received their first funds from the National Fund in 2023, except for those born in 2006, an investment income of 3.04 dollars has been credited this year. As a result, the targeted savings for a child born in 2006 amount to 100.52 dollars, while for a child born in 2007, it amounts to 232.94 dollars.
