A new prosecutor has been appointed for the Aktobe region.

In coordination with the head of state, the General Prosecutor's order has appointed Senior Justice Advisor Marat Abishev as the Prosecutor of Aktobe Region, reports NUR.KZ, citing the Prosecutor General's Office of Kazakhstan.

According to the official website of the agency, Marat Abishev has significant work experience, including leading a specialized division within the central apparatus and coordinating the activities of prosecutor's offices in the area of public interest protection.

He oversaw the implementation of tasks set by the country's president, including support for large investment projects, the return of unused land to the state, and the protection of labor rights for citizens as well as socially vulnerable groups.

Marat Abishev was born on September 5, 1979, in Karaganda.

He began his career in the prosecutor's office in 2000 as an assistant prosecutor in Zhezkazgan. He later worked in the General Prosecutor's Office as a prosecutor, and then as a senior prosecutor in the Department for Oversight of the Legality of Judicial Acts and Enforcement Proceedings in civil and administrative matters.

He also held the position of judge at the Zyryanovsk District Court in the East Kazakhstan region. Over the years, he served successively as a senior prosecutor in the department, head of a section, deputy head of the Department for Representing State Interests in Courts of the General Prosecutor's Office, and as both deputy and first deputy prosecutor of the Kostanay region, as well as deputy head of the General Prosecutor's Office.

Prior to his current appointment, he served as the head of the Public Interest Protection Service of the General Prosecutor's Office.

His total work experience in the prosecutor's office exceeds 22 years. For his professional achievements, he has been awarded the "Aybyn" II degree order and the "For Courage in Battle" medal.

It is worth noting that a new head of the police department of the Aitekebi district in the Aktobe region has recently been appointed. He is Colonel of Police Akimgerey Balmagambetov. Prior to this, he served as the deputy head of the Mughalzhar district police department.

Additionally, there have been other recent appointments in the Aktobe region. Askar Jussibaliyev has taken the lead in the Department of Agriculture, while Sultan Amanchin has been appointed head of the Department of Architectural and Construction Control.
