The new deputy minister is 33 years old, hails from Astana, and is a graduate of Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov.

Dmitry Mun began his career in 2014 as an expert at the Center of JSC "Institute of Economic Research." He later held various positions, including working as a manager at JSC "Kazpost" and as the head of a department in the Electoral Work and Legal Regulation Division of the Committee for Legal Statistics and Special Accounts of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Since 2019, he has worked as a software engineer at the Department of JSC "National Information Technologies," and in 2020, he became the managing director of Big Data there.

In 2023, Dmitry Mun was appointed as the deputy chairman of the board of JSC "National Information Technologies."
