A new deputy akim has been appointed in Aktau.

Bauyrzhan Yesenov has been appointed as the deputy akim of Aktau. Previously, he served as the head of the Department of the Agency for the Protection and Development of Competition for the Mangystau region, according to NUR.KZ, citing the city akimat.

According to the official account of the akimat on Facebook, Bauyrzhan Serikovich Yesenov was born in 1983. In 2004, he graduated from the Almaty Law Academy of KazGUU.

From 2005 to 2012, he held various positions in the prosecutor's office, and from 2013 to 2017, he served in command roles within the law enforcement agencies of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Between 2017 and 2018, he was the head of the department for investigating violations of antimonopoly legislation in commodity markets at the Department of the Committee for Regulation of Natural Monopolies and Protection of Competition of the Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the Mangistau region.

From 2018 to 2019, he worked as the head of the department for monitoring compliance with legislation and litigation at the Department of the Committee for Regulation of Natural Monopolies and Protection of Competition of the Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the Mangistau region.

In 2019-2020, he served as the deputy head of the Department of the Committee for Protection and Development of Competition of the Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the Mangistau region.

Since 2020, prior to his new appointment, Bauyrzhan Yesenov was the head of the Department of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Protection and Development of Competition for the Mangistau region.

Earlier, akims for two districts in the Mangistau region were appointed - Munaily and Tupkaragan. The posts were taken by Kanat Kulzhanov and Yerzhan Kumiskaliev, respectively.

In the spring of last year, Nurdaulet Kilybay was appointed akim of the Mangistau region. Prior to that, he held the position of General Director of "Ozenmunaigas."

Subsequently, the first deputy akim of the Mangistau region became Yerbol Izbergenov, who previously served as akim of Aktau.

Additionally, with the agreement of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Abbat Urisbaev and Tlegen Abishev were appointed as deputy akims of the Mangistau region.
