A new appointment has taken place in the Atyrau administration. Meirzhan Mukasov has assumed the position of Deputy Akim of the city, as reported by NUR.KZ, citing the city administration.

According to the official account of the Akimat on Instagram, Meirzhan Zhuldasovich Mukasov has been appointed as the Deputy Akim of Atyrau.

He was born in 1994 in the Atyrau region. In 2013, he graduated from the Atyrau Agrarian and Technical College with a degree in "Technician," and later earned a bachelor's degree in "Services" from Atyrau Oil and Gas University. In 2018, he graduated from the Kazakhstan University of Innovative Telecommunications with a degree in "Jurisprudence," and in 2022, he completed his studies at the Moscow Institute of Economics with a degree in "Economics." He also holds a state auditor certificate.

He began his career in 2013 as a specialist in the Atyrau City Department of Housing and Public Utilities, Passenger Transport, and Roads.

From 2015 to 2018, he worked as a chief specialist, and from 2018 to 2020, he served as the head of the sector and deputy head of the city department of housing and public utilities, passenger transport, and roads.

From 2020 to 2022, he held the position of head of the city finance department.

In 2022-2023, he worked as the head of the Atyrau regional finance department, and in 2023-2024, he served as the head of the Atyrau regional department of state procurement and communal property.

Prior to his current appointment, he worked as an advisor to the regional Akim.

In the fall of 2024, with the agreement of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a new deputy head of the region was appointed by the order of the Akim of Atyrau region. The new appointee is Daryn Shamuратов, who previously held the position of Akim of the Inder district.

In 2023, Shakira Keykina was appointed as the Akim of Atyrau. The corresponding order was signed by the head of the region, and her candidacy was approved by the Administration of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
