Former defender of “Pary NN” Dmitry Tikhiy stated to “RB Sport” that he has no doubts about the level of Stanislav Cherchesov and is confident that the coach will be in demand after leaving the Kazakhstan national team, reports Sports.kz.
The Russian specialist Stanislav Cherchesov has left his position as head coach of the Kazakhstan national team following a rather disappointing performance in the Nations League — in 6 matches, his team suffered 5 defeats and managed only one draw.
“What happened with Cherchesov in the Kazakhstan national team is hard to explain; I don’t know all the details. It is clear that from a results perspective, it turned out to be, let’s say, unsatisfactory, but there were probably reasons for that. After all, Stanislav Salamovich has proven his competence multiple times both in Russia and abroad, achieving remarkable, top-tier results with both the national team and clubs. No one doubts that he knows how to do this. As for his demand, that’s not even a relevant question. A high-class specialist, of course, he will be in demand — maybe not today, but tomorrow,” Tikhiy stated.
