In Aktau, a regional emergency and urgent medical care station will be constructed, capable of handling 100,000 call-outs per year. The government has allocated 4.6 billion tenge from the Special State Fund for this purpose, as reported by the press service of the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan.
The construction site is planned to be located on a 2.6-hectare plot in microdistrict 34 A of the city of Aktau . The emergency medical station will feature a training and simulation center, as well as a repair and washing base for ambulances.
The total cost of the project is estimated at 4.8 billion tenge. A portion of the funds, amounting to 100 million tenge has been allocated from the local budget. Currently, the readiness of the facility is at 10%: earthworks have been completed, and the construction of internal engineering networks has been carried out. Funds from the Special State Fund will ensure the project is completed on schedule.
As of now, Aktau has a population of 200,000 people. The region ranks high in terms of birth rates. Over the past seven years, 10 new microdistricts have been built in the city. The construction of the new ambulance station will provide the population with accessible and quality medical care.
To date, the Government has allocated approximately 55.2 billion tenge from the Special State Fund for the construction of socially significant facilities. This includes 4 schools, one of which is a music school, as well as 2 sports complexes, a multifunctional hospital complex, a dormitory, and 2 kindergartens. Additionally, funds from the Law on the "Return of Illegally Acquired Assets to the State" are being used to construct several social infrastructure projects in the cities of Arkalyk, Astana, and Almaty.
