The head of state sent a congratulatory telegram to the president of Sri Lanka, as reported by the Kapital.kz business information center, citing the Akorda press service.

According to reports, the president of Kazakhstan congratulated Anura Kumar Dissanayake and his fellow citizens on their national holiday – Independence Day.

In his telegram, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev highlighted Sri Lanka's significant achievements in sustainable development and strengthening its international standing.

“Kazakhstan places great importance on further deepening relations with Sri Lanka. I am confident that our collaboration will continue to evolve in a spirit of friendship and mutual respect for the benefit of our peoples,” the message stated.

The head of our state wished President Anura Kumar Dissanayake success in his responsible role, and prosperity and well-being to the people of Sri Lanka.

It is worth noting that earlier, the Kazakh leader congratulated the Prime Minister of India on Republic Day, emphasizing the unique nature of Kazakh-Indian relations, which are based on strong ties of friendship and strategic partnership.
