During the meeting, which took place in a working lunch format, the presidents discussed a wide range of issues regarding the Kazakh-Hungarian strategic partnership.

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev emphasized that over three decades of diplomatic relations between the brotherly nations, a trusting political dialogue, strong economic cooperation, and close cultural and humanitarian ties have been established.

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev highlighted the importance of expanding trade, economic, and investment connections. According to him, Kazakhstan and Hungary share mutual interests in developing sectors such as energy, transportation, logistics, metallurgy, renewable energy sources, agriculture, pharmaceuticals, the food industry, and others.

In turn, Tamás Suiok noted that, despite the geographical distance, the peoples of the two countries have common historical roots and aspirations.

The interlocutors also paid special attention to deepening cultural and humanitarian ties. The necessity of activating academic and scientific exchanges between leading universities of Kazakhstan and Hungary was emphasized.

The presidents also exchanged views on current international agenda issues and discussed cooperation within multilateral structures.
