Changes have been made to the management of "Kairat" ahead of the season's kickoff.

The sports director of Almaty's "Kairat," Konstantin Lezhnev, has announced his departure from the club, as reported by Sports.kz with reference to Meta-ratings.kz.

It is reported that the current champions of Kazakhstan are already looking for a replacement for the specialist from Russia.

It is worth noting that Lezhnev held this position since 2019. Under his leadership, the club won two KPFL championships, one Kazakhstan Cup, and one Super Cup.

Lezhnev has been part of the Almaty club's structure since 2016. Before joining "Kairat," Konstantin worked at Moscow's "Dynamo," Samara's "Krylia Sovetov," and FC "Moscow."
