Every year, the frequent lack of drinking water during the summer period caused dissatisfaction among the residents of the region.
The Prosecutor's Office of the Karakiyan District expedited the transfer of a 5-hectare land plot in the village of Kuryk to the investor, LLP "Aleka," for the construction of a plant that will produce 5000 cubic meters of drinking water daily. Currently, 20 wells have been drilled at the plant, and work is underway to check the salinity of the water.
Previously, the residents of the village were supplied with drinking water by LLP "Desalination Plant Caspian," located in the city of Aktau.
