On December 8, 2023, just before the celebration of the 75th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the Head of State signed the Third Decree on human rights and the rule of law, along with an Action Plan for its implementation, as reported by DKnews.kz.

This step reaffirmed Kazakhstan's commitment to its international obligations and demonstrated consistency in its efforts to implement these obligations into the national legislation of the country.
