Kazakhstan's national team is now ranked 110th in the FIFA rankings.

The International Federation of Football (FIFA) has updated its ranking of national teams. Kazakhstan has dropped three positions and now ranks 110th, as reported by Bizmedia.kz.
Kazakhstan's national team is now ranked 110th in the FIFA rankings.

The top three positions remain unchanged: Argentina, France, and Spain.

The ranking of the Kazakhstan team has dropped due to two defeats suffered in November during the Nations League. The squad led by Stanislav Cherchesov lost to Austria in a home match with a score of 0:2, and then faced a heavy defeat against Norway away — 0:5.

On June 3, 2024, Stanislav Cherchesov was appointed head coach of the Kazakhstan national football team. The appointment of the Russian specialist instilled a certain optimism: the team under Magomed Adiev was close to participating in its first major tournament and seemed ready for new achievements. However, the "new era" turned out to be a failure, as we reported earlier.
