According to him, currently fines for overloads are imposed after a camera captures the violation, and then a transport control officer locates the offender and issues the fine. This process requires human involvement, making the system less efficient.
However, starting from December 4, fines will be collected automatically, eliminating the human factor. At this moment, the automation process is only operational in the capital, where the system covers all 7 city entry points.
The minister emphasized that the primary goal of this innovation is to maintain road conditions. He noted that on some roads, trucks weighing more than the permissible 24 tons can reach weights of 45 or even 100 tons, which places significant stress on and damages the infrastructure.
