According to the 700-H report for 2024, the volume of pledged assets in BCK has grown by 38.3%, reaching 8.3 trillion tenge. Halyk Bank increased its share by 28.3%, while Otbasy saw a rise of 19.3%, with both banks now holding pledged assets totaling 6.8 trillion tenge.
Some banks reported a decline. For instance, Bereke reduced its pledged assets by 9.6% (to 2.8 trillion tenge), and Jusan by 9.2% (to 998 billion tenge). Meanwhile, Forte Bank improved its figures by 12.5% (to 2.25 trillion tenge), RBK exhibited a slight increase of 0.6% (to 1 trillion tenge), and Freedom Bank grew by 15.6% (to 693.7 billion tenge).
Kaspi Bank emerged as the leader in growth rates among banks, increasing its pledged assets by 44% (to 479.7 billion tenge). Eurasian Bank also demonstrated a significant increase of 28.5%, although its pledged asset volume remains modest at 18 billion tenge.
