It was announced on Facebook by Rishat Askarbekuly, an advisor to the head of the central apparatus of the Respublica party, that Ekaterina Smolyakova will replace Ruslan Berdenov as a new deputy in the Mazhilis.
It is noted that Smolyakova is a graduate of the Zhansugurov University in Taldykorgan and teaches the Kazakh language and literature.
According to Askarbekuly, Ekaterina Smolyakova began her public work early on. She leads a women's club at KBTU and is the chairperson of the board of trustees for children's home No. 1 in Almaty.
Her most recent position was as the vice-rector of KBTU.
Recall that just a few days earlier, Mazhilis member Ruslan Berdenov was appointed deputy akim of Shymkent.
Today, the deputies at the plenary session of the Mazhilis supported the early termination of Ruslan Berdenov's deputy powers.
