The Astana Juvenile Court reinstated the mother's parental rights regarding her child.

In 2022, the mother of a 5-year-old child had her parental rights restricted, while the father lost his entirely. Child support payments were mandated from the parents for the child's upkeep. The child was placed in a specialized orphanage and later transferred to a couple acting as guardians, as reported by Bizmedia.kz.
The Astana Juvenile Court reinstated the mother's parental rights regarding her child.

The child's mother filed a lawsuit for the restoration of parental rights in 2023. She stated that she does not use drugs and has been removed from drug addiction records, has found employment, and is working to correct her past mistakes. The child is her purpose and motivation for a normal life. The woman provided supporting documents.

The Specialized Interdistrict Court for Minors in Astana, upon reviewing the case, took into account all the positive aspects of the woman's life: references from her workplace and the police, timely payment of alimony, as well as the fact that she owns two apartments, one of which is rented out and provides additional income.

The court, recognizing that the child has the right to be raised in a family, especially if the biological parent is capable of providing proper development and care, granted the claim in full: the mother was restored in her parental rights, and the alimony obligation against her was canceled.
