The Ministry of Transport has announced which new international flights will be launched from Kazakhstan during the autumn-winter period. According to the agency, the Kazakh carrier is introducing air routes to Thailand, the UAE, and Saudi Arabia, as reported by the business information center Kapital.kz.
“Starting from the autumn-winter period, Air Astana will launch new international routes to Thailand, the United Arab Emirates, and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as well as increase the number of flights on existing routes,” the statement said.
Specifically, on October 26 of this year, the airline began flights on the route “Astana – Phuket” (Thailand) with a frequency of three flights per week. On the same day, flights commenced on the “Atyrau – Dubai” (UAE) route with a frequency of two flights per week.
Starting October 28, flights from “Almaty – Phu Quoc” (Vietnam) will begin with a frequency of two flights per week, with plans to increase to five flights per week starting December of this year.
From October 29, the “Almaty – Medina” (Saudi Arabia) route will operate with a frequency of two flights per week. On October 30, air service will be opened on the “Astana – Abu Dhabi” (UAE) route, also with a frequency of two flights per week.
Starting December 12, flights from “Almaty – Abu Dhabi” (UAE) will commence with a frequency of two flights per week.
Additionally, Air Astana is increasing the number of flights to Dubai from Almaty (from 7 to 11 per week) and from Astana (from 7 to 9). The frequency of flights from Astana to Seoul will increase from 2 to 3 flights.
