Tamara Duyssenova shared insights on the salaries of oil workers and miners in Kazakhstan.

Today, during a press conference, Tamara Duyssenova, the Deputy Prime Minister, addressed the salaries of employees in the oil and mining sectors, as reported by Bizmedia.kz.
Tamara Duyssenova shared insights on the salaries of oil workers and miners in Kazakhstan.

According to her, the average salary is typically higher in regions where the oil companies are located.

This applies to the western areas of Kazakhstan, including Atyrau, Mangystau, and Aktobe.

However, she clarified that the higher salaries in these regions are primarily attributed to the earnings of individuals working in the oil industry.

Meanwhile, the salaries of other categories of workers, such as teachers and medical professionals, do not differ from the national average.

When asked about miners' salaries, Duyssenova found it difficult to provide exact figures but promised to share them later.

She also emphasized that for miners, salaries depend on their working conditions. Those working directly in the mines receive one amount, while those who work outside receive a completely different one.
