Tokayev and Putin outlined plans to deepen their partnership.

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev highly praised the outcomes of the recent negotiations in a narrow format, during which a wide range of pressing bilateral agenda issues was discussed.

"Regarding our cooperation, we reached a consensus and gave the appropriate instructions to our governments. A significant amount of work lies ahead. I can confirm that our collaboration is developing positively and has gained irreversible momentum. Our task is to ensure that this cooperation maintains its pace, that trade between our countries flourishes, investment collaboration deepens, and contacts in humanitarian and educational fields also continue to rise," Kassym-Jomart Tokayev

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev specifically addressed the state of trade and economic relations between Kazakhstan and Russia. According to him, mutual trade is steadily growing, and there is a good opportunity to reach a bilateral trade turnover of $30 billion in the near future. Positive trends are also evident in the investment sector.

"Currently, 93 projects have been jointly implemented with a total investment volume of $18.3 billion, which has created over 22,000 new jobs in Kazakhstan. There are an additional 49 projects on the agenda with an investment volume of approximately $29.5 billion, with the potential to create more than 20,000 jobs," The President of Kazakhstan

In turn, Vladimir Putin stated that the interaction between Moscow and Astana continues to actively develop across all directions.

"Indeed, Kazakhstan is our strategic partner and a reliable ally. When we discussed issues of interaction in a narrow format, we focused on the problems arising within our bilateral process. But the most important thing is that there is a desire to seek answers to all these questions and to find them. I do not know of any issue that we could not resolve together. With this attitude, we will achieve great success. And the fact that Kazakhstan, under your leadership, is achieving impressive results also pleases us, as the volume of cooperation is increasing. Despite all the challenges of today, this interaction is only expanding, becoming interesting and mutually beneficial for both sides," The President of Russia

During the negotiations, a wide range of cooperation issues in the fields of trade and economy, transport and logistics, fuel and energy, science and technology, and cultural and humanitarian areas were discussed.
